No Fluoridation Chemicals In Spokane Drinking Water

We, the undersigned, oppose water fluoridation in Spokane and oppose the vote by a majority of city council members to spend money on a study that could lead toward fluoridation of our public water supply.

Numerous peer-reviewed scientific studies have found fluoridation to be a major risk to human health, minimally (if at all) effective, an environmental risk and a wasteful, excessive expense. Moreover, it is unfair to low-income families or medically fragile people who can’t afford unfluoridated bottled water or expensive filters to avoid it.

Water fluoridation takes away informed consent – our right to choose which drugs we and our families ingest.
